Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser
Tim Lautzenheiser is a well-known name in the music education world as a teacher, clinician, author, composer, conductor, consultant, and, above all, a trusted friend to anyone interested in working with young people in developing a desire for excellence. His career involves ten years of successful college band directing at Northern Michigan University, the University of Missouri, and New Mexico State University.
Following three years in the music industry, he created Attitude Concepts, Inc., an organization designed to manage the many requests for workshops, seminars, and convention speaking engagements focusing on the area of positive attitude and effective leadership training. He presently holds the Earl Dunn Distinguished Lecturer position at Ball State University. Tim also is the Executive Director of Education for Conn-Selmer, Inc.
His books, produced by G.I.A. Publications, The Art of Successful Teaching, The Joy of Inspired Teaching, and Everyday Wisdom are bestsellers in the educational world. He is also co-author of Hal Leonard's popular band method, Essential Elements.

George N. Parks
George N. Parks is the nation's foremost authority on the art of drum majoring, and brings over 30 years of teaching and performing experience to the Drum Major Academy, instructing over 3000 drum major and band leadership students each year.
Mr. Parks is the director of the Minuteman Marching Band and Professor of Music at the University of Massachusetts. He has been recipient of the University's Distinguished Teacher Award and the Chancellor's Medal for Distinguished Service, and has been inducted into the Massachusetts Instrumental Conductor's Association Hall of Fame. Mr. Parks was drum major of the West Chester University Golden Rams Marching Band. He was also drum major for the Reading Buccaneers Senior Drum and Bugle Corps where he received numerous individual honors including eight DCA Championship Drum Major Awards.
Professor Parks has been featured in various instructional videos teaching drum majoring, leadership skills, and mace techniques, and has authored The Dynamic Drum Major, a text on the art of drum majoring.

Jay Bocook
Jay Bocook is the Marching Band Director at Furman University. He is recognized internationally as a composer, conductor, and educator.
Mr. Bocook’s work has been heard during the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, California and the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a principal composer and arranger for the Hal Leonard Corporation, and is presently the arranger for the nine-time DCI World Champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.

Dr. Andrew Yozviak
Andrew Yozviak is the director of the Golden Rams Marching band at West Chester University. He holds a Master of Music degree in composition from Indiana University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from West Chester University, and a D.M.A in Wind Conducting from Rutgers University.
Dr. Yozviak has served as musical arranger for both the Chops, Inc. and Governaires Drum and Bugle Corps, the West Chester University Marching Band, and as brass arranger for The Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Collegiate, high school, middle school, and elementary school groups have commissioned his works for bands, choruses, and chamber groups across the country.

Todd Marcocci
Over the last 20 years Todd Marcocci has choreographed and designed over 600 parade, marching band, drum corps, color guard, and dance productions. His design and choreography work has been seen in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade; the Philadelphia 4th of July Parade; the Citrus Bowl Halftime; the NBA All-Star Team-up Friday; the Daytona International Speedway opening Pre-Show for NBC Television; the Tournament of Roses Parade; The Snapple Corporation (1996 commercial under the direction of Spike Lee); The Troopers, The Crossmen, The Blue Coats, and the reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps; West Chester University Marching Band and countless other events and performance organizations.

Thom Hannum
Thom Hannum has long been regarded as one of the nation’s foremost percussion arrangers, instructors, and clinicians having presented numerous seminars and workshops throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
He is best known for his work with DCI World Championship Drum and Bugle Corps, The Cadets (1983-1988) and Star of Indiana (1990-1996). He is a member of the design team for the Tony Award winning show Blast!, and is a member of the DCI Hall of Fame.
Mr. Hannum Serves as the Associate Director for the University of Massachusetts Minuteman Marching Band. He is a product consultant and clinician for the Avedis Zildjian Cymbal Company, Evans Drum Heads, the Pearl Corporation, and Vic Firth Sticks and Mallets.

Dr. Chris Hanning
Chris Hanning is the Director of Percussion Activities at West Chester University and is the principal percussionist/timpanist with the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, percussionist for Philadelphia’s premier contemporary music ensemble Relâche, and has been a member of the Percussive Arts Society since 1982.
Hanning has been a recording artist for NFL Films since 1997 and has performed on numerous recordings for NFL Films including two Emmy Award Winning projects. His most recent recordings include sound tracks for My Father’s Gun and Blood From a Stone (History Channel Movies), various selections for the closing ceremony of the 2006 Super Bowl, and a CD with legendary saxophonist David Leibman and the Manhattan Saxophone Quartet titled The Seasons Reflected (Soul Note).

Dr. Frank Kumor
Frank Kumor is the Assistant Director of Percussion Studies at Kutztown University, and conducts the world percussion ensemble. His book, co-authored by Chalo Eduardo, Drum Circle: A Guide to World Percussion, has been released by Alfred Publishing Company. The book features 28 world percussion instruments from five continents. As a performer, Dr. Kumor presents recitals and workshops throughout the United States.
His marching percussion activities include teaching and arranging for award winning high school and university percussion sections in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Ohio. His marching percussion compositions are published in the annual Yamaha “Sounds of Summer” instructional handbook.
Dr. Kumor is a performing artist and clinician for Paiste Cymbals, Yamaha Percussion, Remo Percussion, Mike Balter Mallets, and Alfred Publishing Company.

Dr. Will Rapp
Will Rapp is a Professor of Music at Kutztown University, where he serves as Chair of the Department of Music, Director of Bands and Percussion Studies.
Dr. Rapp has a 28 year career as a published author, with over 350 publications in the area of percussion ensemble compositions and marching band arrangement through Jenson Publications and the Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation. His unique distinctions in the field of published music include being the first author to publish percussion cadences for the contemporary percussion instrumentation, and the development of the percussion feature concept for published arrangements.
Dr. Rapp is a percussion clinician and consultant for Yamaha, and has performed as a recitalist, guest conducted honor bands and appeared as a clinician in 24 states and two provinces in Canada.

Michael Cesario
Michael Cesario is recognized as a leader in design for performing and pageantry arts. Michael is currently the Director of Design for Theatre and Film at New York’s Purchase College.
Know as a costume designer for Broadway, Off Broadway, regional repertory stages throughout the United States, Television, and Las Vegas, he is in demand as and instructor and adjudicator of high school bands and drum and bugle corps. He is also a member of the DCI Hall of Fame.

Randy Gilmore
As President of Marching Show Concepts Randy exemplifies an expertise and standard of excellence that is well known and respected throughout the music industry. Randy has served as assistant marching band director at West Chester University, as well as ten years as a nationally recognized high school band director. He is an accomplished drill designer and continues to display his talents in the MSC collection of products and services.

Craig Harms
Craig Harms is a nationally famous drill designer. He has been featured in workshops, clinics, and conventions all across the United States. He is considered to be the leading expert in the use of Pygraphics drill writing software, a technical consultant to Pyware, and author of the Pyware Instruction Manual, Ask the Authority.

Dr. J. Steven Moore
J. Steven Moore is Director of Bands at Colorado State University where he conducts the wind ensemble and orchestra, directs the marching band and pep band, and teaches conducting and marching band techniques. He is the director of the Rocky Mountain Summer Music Camp. Professor Moore has 10 years public school teaching experience in elementary, middle, and high school. He has conducted the University of Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestras, and has served as Assistant Director of Bands at the University of Kentucky.
